The revolutionary 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona EV turns a new page in the history of muscle cars. Featuring a 400-volt propulsion system and the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, this electric powerhouse is ready to tear up streets and racetracks all around Wichita Falls.

All-Electric Propulsion System

The Charger Daytona EV features a 400-volt propulsion system that incorporates a 100.5-kWh battery and two electric motors. Although it isn’t the HEMI V8 that traditionally powers Dodge muscle cars, the dual-motor setup is tremendously powerful, clocking in at 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque in the entry-level R/T model. These output figures convert to a 0-to-60-mph time of 4.7 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.6 seconds.

Moving up to the Scat Pack trim level, the 400-volt propulsion system zaps a mind-boggling 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. The increased output cuts down the 0-to-60-mph time to an incredible 3.3 seconds and the quarter-mile time down to 11.5 seconds.

Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust

Lifelong HEMI V8 fans can still enjoy the engine’s iconic soundtrack thanks to the Charger Daytona EV’s Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust. This innovative system incorporates Fratzonic Chamber-loaded passive radiators, extreme bandwidth transducers, and a dedicated amplifier to produce a soul-stirring roar.

The Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system produces different sounds for accelerating, decelerating, powering up, and powering down, recreating the traditional muscle car experience.

Racing Options

To optimize the Charger Daytona EV’s performance for the race at hand, you can choose one of two Race Prep options using the center touchscreen. Drag warms up the battery and maximizes the powertrain’s output for an explosive start. Meanwhile, Track reduces battery temperature and configures the powertrain for better stamina.

Near-Perfect Weight Distribution

The combination of a strategically placed battery and a cleverly designed body gives the Charger Daytona EV almost perfect balance. The nearly 50-50 weight distribution enhances the muscle car’s traction and ability to corner aggressively. Additionally, the chassis is constructed using stiff, lightweight materials, giving the muscle car a track-worthy strength-to-weight ratio.

Advanced Suspension

A multilink front and fully independent rear suspension underpins the Charger Daytona EV. The setup provides excellent lateral stiffness and reduces body roll, further improving the muscle car’s maneuverability. The suspension system also features a dual-valve adaptive damping system, which uses two dedicated valves to smooth out the impact of road imperfections and ensure maximum tire-to-road contact.

Performance Brakes

State-of-the-art Brembo brakes give the muscle car all the stopping power it needs. The braking system comes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, which clamp down on 16-inch vented rotors to produce enormous amounts of friction.
